The Nasarawa State Police Command has taken into custody a 30-year-old man, Musbawu Amodu, over the alleged killing of his wife during a domestic altercation in Agyaragu, Obi Local Government Area of the state.
The incident reportedly occurred on Sunday in the Angwan Yahaya community after an argument between the couple turned violent.
The deceased, aged 20, was said to have been married to the suspect for six years, and the union produced two children, a boy and a girl.
The Police spokesperson SP Rahman Nansel, confirmed the incident in a statement on Sunday.
