The Mitchells Plain mom of two may be unemployed and living hand to mouth in New Culture informal settlement, but that hasn’t stopped her from making a difference in her community.
Despite the family struggling to make a living like their neighbours, she and her husband Jason are doing their best to help the children and elderly in New Culture get a warm meal as winter continues to grip the Western Cape.
