GUNTURA delegation from Taiwan’s Asia University visited Vignan Foundation for Science, Technology & Research (VFSTR) on Monday (August 10, 2026) as part of a week-long India-Taiwan Academic Collaboration Programme.The delegation, led by Prof. Lin Chun-Wei, Dean of Academic and International Affairs, held discussions with VFSTR officials on student and faculty exchanges, joint research, international internships, and dual-degree programmes. Collaboration opportunities in semiconductors, artificial intelligence, information technology, and electrical engineering were also explored.VFSTR Vice-Chancellor Prof. K.V. Krishnakishore said partnerships with leading global institutions would provide students with international exposure and foster innovation by combining Taiwan’s technological expertise with Indian talent.The delegation visited VFSTR’s semiconductor and AI laboratories, engineering research facilities and innovation centres, appreciating its research ecosystem and industry-academia interface.Registrar Prof. P.M.V.
