Spanish data center firm Nabiax is expanding its data center campus outside Madrid and eyeing potential expansion across Europe.

The company is preparing a new business plan that includes the expansion of its campus in Alcalá de Henares through the ADC3 project, which will add a third building and increase total capacity to more than 100MW of IT capacity.

Overall, the company aims to increase its s total capacity from the current 35MW to 140MW in the coming years. The planned investment is around €800 million ($925.8m).

Nabiax CEO Pablo Ruiz-Escribano said that the company is analyzing new investments in Madrid and evaluating opportunities for international expansion in Portugal, the United Kingdom, Italy, and Germany.

Ruiz-Escribano noted that Nabiax, founded seven years ago as a spin-off of Telefónica, is now entering a new phase marked by a goal of significant growth.
