Australian police and forensic investigators were called in to investigate a possible murder after a suitcase believed to contain human remains was found dumped in the countryside. But the case soon took a bizarre twist.
But what appeared to be a grim discovery turned out to be something else entirely.
Inside the suitcase was a lifelike sex doll, complete with clothes, hair, a nose piercing and markings which police said resembled bruises and grazes.
