Number coding in NCR suspended on Monday, Aug. 10 due to heavy rains

MANILA, Philippines — The expanded number coding scheme was suspended on Monday, August 10, due to heavy rains brought by the southwest monsoon (habagat), the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) announced.

“Paalala ng MMDA: Planuhin ang biyahe, mag-ingat sa pagmamaneho at manatiling nakatutok sa mahahalagang impormasyon kaugnay sa lagay ng panahon,” the agency said in an advisory on Monday morning.
