Sivaganga police have arrested one more person in connection with the case involving the hoarding of methamphetamine worth ₹15 crore in Sivaganga. Following a tip-off that methamphetamine drugs were being hoarded near the Indira Nagar railway gate area in Sivaganga, the Sivaganga Town police conducted a raid there. During the operation, the police arrested four individuals who were hiding at the spot: Rasouldeen, 35, of Ilayangudi Pudur; Abu alias Sahubar Sadik, 26, of Triplicane, Chennai; Mohammed Hafeez, 28, of Tiruchi; and Mohammed Rafeeq alias Babu, 30, of Tiruchi. They seized 3.1 kg of methamphetamine valued at ₹15 crore from them. Further investigation revealed that these substances were intended to be smuggled to Malaysia.
