For the third consecutive day, Russian forces have attacked facilities belonging to the Naftogaz Group. Overnight on August 9, drones struck the production assets and a drilling site of Ukrnafta.
According to Ukrinform, the Naftogaz Group announced the attack on Facebook.
"Russia launched a massive attack on Naftogaz Group assets in eastern, western and central Ukraine," the company said.
"The enemy continues to carry out massive strikes on various enterprises belonging to the Naftogaz Group. In particular, overnight on August 9, Ukrnafta's production assets and the company's drilling site came under a massive attack," the statement said.
The company noted that dozens of attack drones were used against the production infrastructure.
