Since the morning of July 6, Russian forces have been conducting sustained strikes on gas production infrastructure in the Kharkiv region.
According to Ukrinform, the company reported this on Telegram.
“Following the combined overnight attack on the capital, the Russians have been heavily striking Naftogaz Group gas production facilities in the Kharkiv region since early morning,” the statement said.
As a result of one of the strikes, a fire broke out at one facility, and one employee was injured. He was given first aid and hospitalized.
“After some time, the Russians carried out a repeat strike, attempting to cause even greater destruction. The attack is ongoing, and personnel are in shelters. Damage assessment will be conducted after the air raid alert is lifted,” the company added.
