Santhanam Vidhyalaya Senior Secondary School (CBSE), Tiruchi, organised a concert by Carnatic vocalist Abhishek Raghuram to commemorate the memorial day of S. Kunjithapatham, senior advocate and former secretary, on Saturday.Mr. Raghuram was accompanied by exponents H.N. Bhaskar on the violin, B. Harikumar on mridangam and Tiruchi S. Krishnaswamy on ghatam. The vocalist began his recital by singing Sivavakkiyar’s philosophical verses Odi odi utkalantha Jothiyai, and then delighted the audience with songs such as Vatapi ganapathim, a Muthuswamy Dheekshithar composition in Hamsadhwani raga.School CEO K.
