MANILA, Philippines — The Quezon City Police District (QCPD) has identified the driver of a van allegedly used to unload a casket bearing messages against the Chinese Communist Party at Welcome Rotonda on Friday morning.
In a statement issued Friday night, the QCPD said it tracked down the driver and questioned the individual during a follow-up operation.
“The driver disclosed that his Toyota Hi-Ace with plate no. NIK 6874 had been rented and was allegedly used during the incident,” the police explained.
