Garfinkel Steps Away After 13 Years as Dolphins’ President, CEO

Miami Dolphins vice chairman, president and chief executive officer Tom Garfinkel announced he is stepping away from his role as president and CEO after 13 years. Garfinkel will remain a part of the organization as vice chairman of the Dolphins and Hard Rock Stadium and managing partner of the Miami Grand Prix. Dolphins chairman and owner Stephen M. Ross also introduced Ross Sports & Entertainment, bringing together the Miami Dolphins, Hard Rock Stadium, the Miami Grand Prix, the Miami Open tennis tournament and the Precision Drive Club into one entity. Ross has named Daniel Sillman as CEO of RSE.

CAA Executive Search Adds 6 International Executives

CAA Executive Search, a division of entertainment and sports agency Creative Artists Agency, announced it has named Patrick Gallagher and Omar Abdo to the newly created positions of head of Australia and New Zealand and head of Middle East, respectively. In addition, the agency furthers its global footprint, adding three veteran search executives in its Munich office, including Henrik Mook, Melina Schulmeister and Sarah Kohrs, while Joseph French has joined as partner in London.
