A new adventure attraction beneath the ruins of Vršatec Castle combines a climbing route, a via ferrata and an extended climbing ladder. It offers spectacular views from the cliff top.
“We wanted to make it accessible to the general public,” said Boris Repák of the František Mišún Foundation, which developed the project together with representatives of the village, as quoted by the regional newspaper MY Považská Bystrica. “Our aim was to create a gateway to this recreational sport, which naturally bridges traditional hiking and climbing.”
