COTABATO CITY— Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (PDEA-BARMM) arrested two women and a man and seized an estimated P6.8 million worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Rosary Heights 3 here on Thursday, Aug. 6.
The operation, conducted shortly after noon, came just two days after anti-drug operatives arrested two brothers and confiscated P3.4 million worth of shabu in another operation in the city.
PDEA-BARMM regional director Edgar Jubay said agents of the PDEA Maguindanao del Norte Provincial Office led the operation, which resulted in the confiscation of approximately one kilo of suspected shabu.
