From Anfield to Istanbul
Salah announced his decision to leave Liverpool back in March 2026, effective at the end of the 2025-26 season. Trabzonspor confirmed ongoing negotiations with the forward on August 4, 2026, via Turkey’s Public Disclosure Platform, which is essentially the Turkish equivalent of an SEC filing for publicly traded clubs.
The Egyptian international is reportedly preparing to undergo medical examinations in Istanbul.
