Trabzonspor have entered transfer negotiations with Mohamed Salah, with the Egyptian forward expected to travel to Istanbul for medical checks.
Salah became a free agent after leaving Liverpool following nine years, having scored 257 goals in 442 appearances.
Earlier talks with fellow Istanbul club Besiktas collapsed due to financial and image rights disagreements.
Salah enjoyed a record-breaking 2024/25 season, becoming the first player to win the Premier League's Player of the Season, Golden Boot and Playmaker Award simultaneously.
