The Chairman of the African Action Congress (AAC) in Delta State, Comrade Prince Maxwell Ogor, has reaffirmed the party's commitment to providing reliable and affordable electricity, describing stable power supply as the foundation for industrialisation, economic growth, job creation and investment.
In a press statement on Thursday, Ogor said no state could attract meaningful investment or build a thriving economy without dependable electricity, stressing that the AAC's development agenda places energy security at the centre of Delta State's transformation.

According to him, an AAC-led government would pursue a diversified energy strategy by developing gas-to-power projects to harness Delta State's abundant natural gas resources, expanding solar energy for homes, businesses, schools, hospitals and public institutions, investing in wind energy where environmentally and economically viable, and promoting waste-to-energy technology to convert refuse into clean electricity.
