Fox Corp’s fiscal year closed at the end of June, and boy, was it lucrative.
Fox’s revenue last quarter increased 28% year-over-year to $4.2 billion, thanks in no small part to the FIFA World Cup. Ad revenue was up an eye-popping 78% YoY to $1.9 billion, which Fox attributed not just to the World Cup but also to continued growth at Tubi, its AVOD platform.
And with its pending acquisition of Roku still on track to close in 2027 (more on that later), Fox’s streaming ambitions are only getting bigger.
