MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirmed on Thursday that it had received the United States’ request to extradite Kingdom of Jesus Christ founder Apollo Quiboloy and had endorsed it to the Department of Justice (DOJ).
“The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) confirms it has received the United States Government’s request for the extradition of Apollo Quiboloy,” DFA spokesperson Analyn Ratonel told the Inquirer. “The DFA has endorsed the request to the DOJ.”
The DOJ, which serves as the Philippines’ central authority for extradition requests, will process the request in accordance with Philippine laws.
