The unveiling of the new NSCDC outpost in Kano State
The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, Kano State Command, has commissioned a new operational outpost at Yelwa Quarters, Dala Local Government Area of the state, as part of efforts to strengthen security presence and enhance effective policing and protection of lives and property within the community.
This is contained in a statement on Thursday by the command’s Public Relations Officer, Ibrahim Abdullahi, on behalf of the State Commandant, Mohammed Agalama.
Commissioning the facility, Agalama said the establishment of the outpost was a strategic step “towards bringing security services closer to the people of this area and ensuring prompt response to emerging security challenges.”
He emphasised the importance of community participation and inter-agency collaboration in tackling insecurity, urging residents to provide security agencies with timely and credible information that could assist in preventing crime and maintaining peace.
