Umhlatuzana resident Reishnee Munilall has dedicated 20 years to developing grassroots football in Chatsworth and continues to inspire the next generation through her leadership and service within the Chatsworth Football Association.
For 20 years, Umhlatuzana resident Reishnee Munilall has quietly helped shape grassroots football in Chatsworth. As South Africa marks Women's Month, her journey highlights the dedication of women who continue to strengthen community sport from behind the scenes.
Currently serving as Vice-Chairperson, Acting Secretary, Membership Convenor, Women's Football Convenor and Media Coordinator of the Chatsworth Football Association (CFA), Munilall has become one of the organisation's most respected administrators. Her commitment to grassroots football has helped strengthen the local game while opening doors for future generations of players.
Munilall's football journey began more than two decades ago with Bayview Sporting, where she first became involved in football administration. Her passion for developing young talent soon led her to school football, where she served as a convenor and helped organise football tournaments for primary schools across Chatsworth. These tournaments created valuable opportunities for young boys and girls to develop their skills, build confidence and experience the joy of the game.
