The family of the toddler killed by the driver of an SUV that smashed through the front window of a Richmond Hill daycare last summer has launched a multimillion-dollar lawsuit against the daycare’s operators, the property owners and the 70-year-old man behind the wheel.

The statement of claim was filed with the Superior Court of Justice in March on the behalf of plaintiffs Behnoush Hajihossein Nouri and Masoud Riazati-Kesheh, who lost their 17-month-old son, Liam Riazati, in the 2025 incident.
