A Toronto family is suing the owners and managers of a North York apartment building after their two-year-old daughter died in a fall from the 19th floor, alleging unsafe window glass and inadequate maintenance contributed to her death.

According to a Statement of Claim filed in Ontario Superior Court, the toddler was inside her family’s apartment at 50 Graydon Hall Dr. on May 10 when she touched a bedroom window. The family alleges the glass suddenly shattered, and the child fell 19 storeys to her death.
