In the Odesa region, Russian forces attacked a ship flying the flag of Guinea-Bissau and carrying Ukrainian wheat: One person was killed, and three were injured.

According to Ukrinform, this was reported by Oleh Kiper, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration.

He noted that the enemy continues to attack civilian ships in the Black Sea without cease. This time, a merchant dry cargo ship flying the flag of Guinea-Bissau and loaded with Ukrainian wheat was hit. “As a result of the attack, the hull was damaged, and a fire broke out on the ship. Unfortunately, one person was killed, and three others were injured,” the post reads.

It is noted that the crew was evacuated to shore.

The injured are receiving all necessary assistance.
