A senior Iranian diplomatic source tells Al Jazeera that the remaining issues being discussed between Tehran and Muscat over the Strait of Hormuz “do not appear to be particularly complex”.
Iran’s state broadcaster IRIB has quoted an informed source as saying the talks between Iran and Oman “have nothing to do with the United States”.
