Suspended EMPD deputy chief Brigadier Julius Mkhwanazi was arrested for the fourth time today.
Suspended Ekurhuleni Metro Police Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi and four co-accused have been arrested in connection with the 2022 murder of Emmanuel Mbense.
This is his fourth arrest.
Mkhwanazi was arrested in April and twice in July. He is out on bail in all matters.
He faces an array of charges, including fraud, corruption, and defeating the ends of justice. He was also arrested in connection with the blue light scandal and the R14,9million Killarney precious stones heist.
