Revolut cofounder and CEO Nik Storonsky is in talks for a new share deal that would up his stake in the fintech giant if it hits a valuation of about $500bn, according to reports.People familiar with the matter told the Financial Times that Storonsky would be granted a stock windfall if the company hits its new target.This follows reports of the previous deal Storonsky signed to increase his ownership by “several percentage points” if Revolut hit a $150bn valuation.In a Russian language interview published in December last year, Storonsky confirmed a 29% stake in the company, saying it would increase by 10% if the company hit a $200bn valuation.Reports last month pegged the financial superapp’s valuation at $115bn in its most recent employee secondary share sale.Revolut is currently targeting a $200bn valuation for a potential 2028 IPO.Sifted approached Revolut for comment.
