SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Two fishing boats that were swept away by strong waves off Barangay Gupa in Dipaculao, Aurora have been recovered, local authorities said on Wednesday.

The boats were reported missing on Aug. 3 after strong winds and rough seas caused by the storm carried them out to sea.

During a search-and-retrieval operation on Tuesday led by the Philippine Coast Guard with assistance from the Municipal Agriculture Office, barangay officials, local fishermen and residents, the boats were found near the coastal waters of Barangays Ditale and Dibutunan before being towed back to the shoreline of Barangay Gupa.
