The former Celebrity Big Brother star reportedly worried fans by concerning behaviour while broadcasting live on TikTok.‌Local police are said to have received "multiple" emergency calls over the welfare of the 48-year-old. Clips taken from the alarming TikTok live show Perez covered in what appears to be blood while also brandishing a knife.‌Local police officers are said to have spoken with family members at the scene and later confirmed that Perez had been inside the property alone before they decided to "tactically disengage" while reviewing the situation.‌A spokesperson for the Miami-Dade Sheriff's office told the Daily Mail : "In many incidents involving a person experiencing a mental health crisis or actively harming themselves, deputies prioritise de-escalation by creating time, distance, and opportunities for communication."Unless there is an immediate threat to others, slowing the situation and utilising crisis intervention techniques can reduce the likelihood of a suicide-by-cop encounter and minimise the risk of injury to the individual, deputies, and the public."‌It later emerged that Perez had been "safely recovered and transported by Miami-Dade Fire Rescue to a local hospital, where he is receiving medical attention."Officers from the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office Crisis Response Unit and Licensed Mental Health Professionals stayed at the scene and were "providing support and resources to the individual's family."The video, which the Mirror are choosing not to show, has since been removed from the platform, and Perez's TikTok account has been suspended by the platform.‌It remains unclear who was inside the property with Perez when the video was filmed before local police arrived on the scene. In a statement to TMZ, Perez's spokesperson said: "We are aware of the concerning content circulating online involving our client, Perez Hilton."At this time, we have not been able to make direct contact with him, despite our ongoing efforts to reach him. Our primary concern is Perez's health and well-being, as well as his family's well-being. Until we have confirmed information, we will not speculate or comment further."We appreciate everyone's concern and ask that his privacy be respected during this time." Video footage from local news outlets shows several sheriff patrol cars stopped in the neighbourhood where Perez lives, with the street closed off by yellow tape.‌In June this year, he told his online followers that he was moving to Miami after three and a half years of living in Las Vegas. "God told me to move to Miami," he said during a previous hospital admission. He went on to add: "Manifesting abundance, manifesting just family, peace, good times."Manifesting health, good health — that's what's most important." Perez found fame in the Noughties as a celebrity blogger, before venturing into mainstream media on shows such as Celebrity Big Brother. The Mirror has approached a spokesperson for both Perez and the Miami-Dade Sheriff's office.Article continues belowWhen life is difficult, Samaritans are available day or night, 365 days a year.
