TVTV NewsMartin KempFather and son Martin and Roman Kemp travelled in Ireland for a new Channel 4 series17:27, 04 Aug 2026Martin Kemp has admitted a story about him getting naked didn't go down that well when he shared it during his travels in Ireland.‌The Spandau Ballet star hit the road in the Emerald Isle with his son, The One Show presenter Roman Kemp, in a bid to "experience Ireland’s legends, landscapes and locals" for new Channel 4 programme Martin and Roman's Irish Road Trip.‌Discussing his adventures with Radio Times, Martin told how one night he shared a tale from his days in the band with people in a pub - but that it only drew polite laughs.‌"The Irish do love a yarn," he said. "We walked into a pub one night, and they were all taking it in turns to get up and tell a story.
