FC Barcelona has added another teenage prospect to its roster, signing 18-year-old winger Jesse Bisiwu from Club Brugge for a fixed fee of €8.5 million. The deal includes a 20% sell-on clause that would benefit the Belgian club if Barcelona eventually flips the player for a profit.

Bisiwu’s contract runs through June 30, 2031. Born on January 22, 2008, he becomes one of the youngest signings in Barcelona’s recent transfer windows.

What Barcelona is getting

Bisiwu came through Club Brugge’s youth academy. Before making the move to Spain, he logged 14 appearances in the UEFA Youth League, scoring three goals.

The winger is expected to bring pace and technical ability to Barcelona’s attacking options. Under coach Hansi Flick, the club has leaned into a squad-building philosophy that prioritizes young, high-ceiling players who can be molded into the system rather than expensive finished products.
