Ionic Wealth, the wealth-tech platform owned by Angel One, on Tuesday launched Ionic Wealth AI, a feature that draws on up to 20 years of an investor’s mutual fund transaction history to generate personalised portfolio insights. The feature connects to an investor’s data through Mutual Fund Central via a consent-based sync, combining that historical record with Ionic’s internal knowledge across markets, macroeconomics and asset classes. The system is designed to track changes in investment behaviour over time, flag concentration risks across holdings and surface insights tied to an investor’s specific financial history rather than generic market commentary. The distinction Ionic is drawing is against both standard portfolio dashboards, which display data without analysis, and general-purpose AI tools, which lack access to an individual’s financial history. Ionic Wealth AI is built to retain that context across time, applying real-time market developments to an investor’s longitudinal record.Srikanth Subramanian, CEO and Co-founder of Ionic Wealth, said access to information alone does not produce better investment decisions. The firm’s stated aim is to bring institutional-grade investment knowledge to the individual investor’s specific financial journey. The feature is available to existing users of the Ionic Wealth application. No additional pricing details were disclosed in the announcement.Ionic Wealth is a wholly owned subsidiary of Angel One Limited. The platform was co-founded in 2024 by Subramanian, Shobhit Mathur and Dharmendra Jain, and targets high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals. Parent company Angel One reported a user base of over 39 million.Published on August 4, 2026
