A hacking group that stole information from the Department for Education has also threatened to publish more than 100,000 pieces of data from the Police National Legal Database (PNLD), including contact details for police officers.

The PNLD, which is hosted by West Yorkshire Police and is used by forces across England and Wales, said the threat group took details related to police officers and people working in criminal justice.

The information includes the person’s name, the force or organisation they work for, and their work email address, the PNLD said.
