In a statement issued after the incident and addressed to Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq and the Chairman of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), Mallam Danladi Salihu, the AAC governorship candidate questioned whether Kwara State still had a government capable of protecting its citizens.
The African Action Congress (AAC) governorship candidate for the 2027 Kwara State election, Comrade Musa Saidu Tsaragi, has condemned the Kwara State government over its failure to protect lives and property following another deadly attack in Lata Nna, a community in Kwara North.
Tsaragi said the latest attack, which reportedly claimed several lives on Tuesday, was another indication of the worsening security situation in the region, accusing Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq's administration of neglecting communities that have repeatedly come under attacks by armed assailants.
"Today, we have witnessed yet another tragic loss of lives in Kwara North. Do we truly have a government in Kwara State?" Tsaragi said.
