CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — The municipal government of Lubang in Occidental Mindoro has suspended all sea travel beginning on Tuesday (Aug. 4) due to rough sea conditions, local disaster officials announced.
In a public advisory, the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) said the no-sail policy takes effect on Aug. 4 until further notice under MDRRMC Memorandum No. 019, Series of 2026.

The advisory said the order does not supersede any gale warning that may be issued by the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), indicating that stricter weather advisories from the state weather bureau remain in force when applicable.
