MANILA, Philippines — Shipping companies canceled several ferry trips on Saturday, Aug. 8, amid rough sea conditions caused by the effects of the enhanced southwest monsoon, or habagat, the Philippine Ports Authority (PPA) reported.
As of noon, the PPA announced the following ports with canceled trips or under a no-sail policy:
