Spider-Man: Brand New Day has enjoyed the second-biggest opening weekend of all time at the global box office, raking in US$927 million (£688.5 million). The blockbuster sees Tom Holland return for his fourth outing as the iconic superhero, opposite his real-life wife Zendaya as his love interest, MJ Watson.The film plunges Holland’s Peter Parker into a world where his identity as Spider-Man has been erased from public memory.
