Four killed in ambush on Old Klipfontein Road as police search for Nyanga gunmen.
Serious Violent Crime detectives have launched an investigation after four men were shot and killed in a mass shooting in Nyanga, Cape Town, on Saturday night.
The victims were travelling in a Toyota Avanza along Old Klipfontein Road at about 9.55pm when they stopped to repair a flat tyre, according to police.
While they were attending to the vehicle, unknown gunmen approached and opened fire on them.
The four men sustained fatal gunshot wounds and were declared dead at the scene by medical personnel.
