A clash between two groups of transgenders resulted in the arrest of two persons in Ennore on Sunday. The police said that, based on an alert regarding a clash between a group of transgender individuals in the Ennore Tsunami Quarters, a patrol team rushed to the spot. When the police tried to stop the altercation, some of them attacked the police officials. They also hurled stones at the patrol vehicle, causing damage to the windshield. The Ennore Police Inspector Vijayakumar rushed to the scene, and after pacifying the crowd arrested Brindha, 29, and Anjali, 31, for causing nuisance to the public and attempting to attack police personnel.
