LUCENA CITY — A 21-year-old person with a disability (PWD) died Sunday, Aug. 2, when a fire destroyed his house in this capital city of Quezon province.
The Lucena City police said the fire broke out at around 6 a.m. in a residential area in the coastal village of Dalahican.
The blaze destroyed six houses, all made of light materials. Responding firefighters managed to put it out about an hour later.
However, firefighters and residents recovered the body of an occupant from one of the burned houses.
