During the past 24 hours, Ukraine's Defense Forces engaged Russian troops in 193 combat clashes, with the largest number of enemy attacks recorded in the Pokrovsk sector.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported this on Facebook in its operational update as of 22:00 on Saturday, August 1, according to Ukrinform.

"Since the beginning of the day, there have been 193 combat engagements. The enemy launched three missile strikes using 31 missiles, carried out 66 airstrikes, and dropped 201 guided aerial bombs. In addition, Russian forces deployed 6,659 kamikaze drones and conducted 2,381 attacks on populated areas and Ukrainian military positions," the statement said.

In the Northern Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk sectors, Russian forces launched three attacks. They also carried out four airstrikes using 12 guided bombs and shelled Ukrainian positions and settlements 49 times, including four attacks using multiple launch rocket systems.
