Former Prasa CEO Lucky Montana and the Special Investigating Unit (SIU) entered into a public feud following the Special Tribunal's preservation order to freeze two luxury properties linked to Montana.
The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) and former Passenger Rail Agency of South Africa (Prasa) CEO Lucky Montana this week entered into a public spat following an order to freeze two luxury properties linked to Montana.
This is after the SIU announced that it has secured a preservation order from the Special Tribunal to freeze the two properties worth more than R15 million.
This involves a R13.5m property in Hurlingham, Johannesburg, and a R2.25m property in Waterkloof, Pretoria.
The SIU alleged that the properties were acquired with proceeds linked to Prasa’s controversial R5.6 billion Integrated Security Access Management System (ISAMS) contracts awarded to Siyangena Technologies.
