Aditya Birla Capital Ltd (ABCL) reported a healthy 40 per cent year-on-year (yoy) rise in first quarter consolidated net profit at ₹1,175 crore against ₹839 crore in the year ago period.ABCL, which is the is the finance flagship of Aditya Birla Group, is a listed systemically important non-deposit taking Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) and the holding company of the financial services businesses.Through its subsidiaries/JVs, the NBFC provides financial solutions across loans, investments, insurance and payments.In the reporting quarter, consolidated Revenue grew 29 per cent yoy to ₹14,731 crore (₹11,419 crore in Q1FY26).The company, in a statement, said total lending portfolio grew by 32 per cent yoy to ₹2,19,289 crore as at June-end 2026, The assets under management (AUM) of the housing finance company was up 50 per cent and stood at ₹51,833 crore as at June-end 2026.Mutual fund quarterly average AUM grew 6 per cent to ₹4,27,675 crore, life insurance individual first year premium grew 20 per cent to ₹952 crore and health insurance gross written premium increased 50 per cent to ₹2,196 crore, it added.ABCL shares closed at ₹ 404.50 apiece, up 2.60 per cent over the previous close of ₹394.25 on BSE.Published on July 31, 2026
