YSR Kadapa district Collector Sreedhar Cherukuri on Friday (July 31, 2026) said that the district has a total of 16.51 lakh voters, as finalised by the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) process.Addressing a media conference here, the Collector said that the number of voters are 16,51,312, including 8,09,839 male, 8,41,337 female, and 136 transgender voters. Similarly, the number of service voters has been put at 2,217 voters.Of the eight constituencies in the district, the far-flung Jammalamadugu constituency has the highest number of votes, while Kamalapuram has the lowest, he said.Constituency-wise, the number of voters is pegged at Badvel – 2,00,193, Rajampeta – 2,15,825, Kadapa – 2,17,415, Pulivendula – 2,00,531, Jammalamadugu – 2,22,619, Kamalapuram – 1,84,559, Proddatur – 2,18,603 and Mydukur – 1,91,567.Mr. Cherukuri requested the public to check their details in the draft voter list released on Friday and to seek clarifications or report any objections in order to have them corrected.
