Palnadu district has a total of 15,49,802 electors, according to the draft electoral roll released by District Collector and District Election Officer Kritika Shukla on Friday as part of the Election Commission of India’s Special Intensive Revision (SIR) programme.The draft roll was released in the presence of representatives of recognised political parties, and copies were distributed to the Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) of all Assembly constituencies in the district.The district has 7,58,339 male electors, 7,91,312 female electors and 151 transgender electors.Ms. Shukla said 1,91,996 names were deleted during the verification of Absent, Shifted, Dead and Duplicate (ASDD) electors. The deletions include 46,157 untraceable or absent electors, 61,868 who had permanently shifted, 24,378 deceased electors, 99 duplicate entries and others identified during the revision process.She appealed to all electors to verify their particulars in the draft roll. Claims and objections relating to inclusion, deletion or correction of entries can be submitted from July 31 to August 30, 2026, through the respective Booth Level Officer (BLO), Tahsildar or Electoral Registration Officer. Citizens who have attained the age of 18 years can apply for enrolment by submitting Form 6 along with Annexure D.The draft electoral roll is available for inspection online as well as at the Collector’s office, the offices of the EROs and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs), and with Booth Level Officers during office hours.The district also has 1,195 service electors.
