District Collector M. Abhishikt Kishore said on Saturday (June 27, 2026) that the district has a total of 2,023,009 registered voters, all of whom are being included in the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the electoral rolls, which is being carried out in a transparent manner.Addressing a press conference at the Collectorate, Abhishikt Kishore said that the door-to-door enumeration exercise, which began on June 14, will continue until July 14. He said that enumeration forms have already been distributed to 16,63,884 voters, while 14,02,693 voters have been successfully mapped so far. He appealed to every voter to fill, sign, and return the enumeration form to the Booth Level Officer (BLO).To assist voters, help desks have been set up at the offices of all Electoral Registration Officers (EROs) and Assistant Electoral Registration Officers (AEROs).
