The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Adamawa State has unveiled Abubakar Mahmud Wambai, the Madakin Mubi, as the running mate to its governorship candidate, Maurice Michael Vunobolki, ahead of the 2027 governorship election.
In a significant political development, the party also appointed Yerima Hammantukur Ribadu, the Dan Madamin Fufore, as Director-General of its campaign organisation.
The appointment has attracted attention because of his family ties to the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu, a leading figure in the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
