Three people, including a taxi association member, were killed in separate drive-by shootings in Phoenix over three days, raising concerns about public safety and community violence.
The Phoenix Taxi Association said they were mourning the loss of their longstanding member, Samukelo Kenneth Sibiya, who was killed outside a tavern in Stanmore on Saturday.
In a separate drive-by shooting on Tuesday, two other men were shot and killed in the Phoenix industrial area.
Sibiya was a taxi driver for 10 years before he climbed up the ranks and worked in management at the association for the last five years.
