Minister of Justice and Constitutional Development, Mmamoloko Kubayi has announced the suspensions of Investigating Directorate Against Corruption's (IDAC) chief investigator, Dylan Perumal, senior investigator Brian Padayachee and investigator Suneel Bellochun.

The Investigating Directorate Against Corruption's (IDAC) chief investigator, Dylan Perumal, has been suspended by Justice and Constitutional Development Minister Mmamoloko Kubayi.

Kubayi announced his suspension along with that of senior investigator Brian Padayachee and investigator Suneel Bellochun during a media briefing held yesterday.

The minister said that Perumal due to his position was placed on suspension by her while the suspensions of Padayachee ad Bellochun were dealt with by National Director of Public Prosecutions (NDPP), Advocate Andy Mothibi.

She said the suspensions were pending discipinary processes. Kubayi said several measures were being taken to stabilise IDAC) following the resignation of its former head, Advocate Andrea Johnson and serious allegations being raised at the Madlanga Commission.
