AUM rose 23 per cent y-o-y and stood at Rs ₹4,00,388 crore as at June-end 2026

Bajaj Finance Ltd (BFL) reported a 29 per cent year-on-year (y-o-y) increase in Q1FY27 standalone net profit, reaching ₹5,345.50 crore against ₹4,133 crore in the year ago quarter, The bottom line being boosted by a healthy growth in net interest income, fees and commission income and deferred tax credit.The NBFC logged a 28 per cent y-o-y growth in consolidated net profit at ₹6,081 crore against ₹4,765 crore in Q1FY26. The consolidated financial results include the results of the parent company, BFL along with its subsidiaries—Bajaj Housing Finance and Bajaj Financial Securities—and its associate companies, Snapwork Technologies and Pennant Technologies.Commission incomeIn the reporting quarter, standalone net interest income (the difference between interest income and finance costs) increased 24 per cent y-o-y to ₹11,495 crore ( ₹9,270 crore in Q1FY26). Fees and commission income was up 32 per cent y-o-y to ₹2,228 crore ( ₹1690 crore).Deferred tax credit was higher at ₹400 crore against ₹239 crore in the year ago quarter.Standalone assets under management (AUM) rose 23 per cent y-o-y and stood at ₹4,00,388 crore as at June-end 2026. Consolidated AUM was up 24 per cent yoy and stood at ₹5,46,944 crore.BFL shares closed at ₹1,056.05 apiece, up 0.18 per cent over the previous close on BSE.Published on July 30, 2026
